My tranquil studio is a solo-tattooist space located on the back of the idyllic Woodthorpe Grange Park woodlands in Nottingham, UK. It has been forged from my longing for a studio environment that carefully aligns high hygiene standards with a serenity and calm that allows for a relaxing tattoo experience, for the both of us. You can expect a clean and bright studio with a gorgeous park view, and having only one tattooist on the premises gives you a completely private and personalised experience.

Hi, i’m rachael
In 2006 I made the life-changing decision to start on my path as a tattooist. For my apprenticeship, which amounted to about two years of intense learning and gathering of experience, I had a great mentor in a well respected studio which put me in good stead for a career in tattooing. Over the years I’ve worked in several studios; each unique and gaining me a deeper understanding of the craft. I'm still learning, still open to refining techniques and absorbing new influences, and still passionate about what I do.
Awards
I’ve been fortunate enough to pick up a few awards from various tattoo conventions over the years. ‘Best small colour’ and ‘Best of show’ were won at the Robin Hood Tattoo Festival in 2015, and ‘Best of Day’ was awarded to me at the Scarborough Tattoo Show in 2017.

“Rachael was initially recommended to me by a mutual friend who thought I would love her work and she was right. I was looking to have a shoulder piece done anyway but when our friend sadly passed away I decided to turn what I already wanted into something that would also remind me of her. I sent some pictures, colours etc to Rachael and gave her a brief idea of what I wanted but asked her to design something. She just knew straight away what I wanted and created me a piece that I instantly loved. People compliment me on it wherever I go and ask me where I had it done. My Promise
I’m a firm believer in making the tattoo experience a positive one. A calm studio and relaxed atmosphere is incredibly important to me, as is making sure you, my customer, enjoys the whole tattoo process; from design through to tattoo completion. Having a new tattoo takes a lot of consideration and commitment, and I have the utmost respect for that and will work closely with my client to achieve their fully tailored and unique new ink.
